17-year-old boy arrested for frustrated homicide in Pasig
MANILA, Philippines — A 17-year-old boy was arrested for frustrated homicide in Pasig City on Monday.
According to a report from the Eastern Police District (EPD), the minor who was identified as alias “Dodoy” was arrested at 11:10 p.m. at his residence in Barangay Sagad, Pasig City.
Police said “Dodoy” was served an arrest warrant issued by Carmencita Lacandazo Logan, assisting judge of the Pasig City Regional Trial Court Branch 159 on April 8, 2019.
The report said the case stemmed from a mauling incident in December 2018 when “Dodoy,” alongside his two other companions alias “Bitoy” and “JS,” reportedly planned to attack the 16-year-old victim identified by the police as alias “J.K.C.”
The mauling incident, according to the police, inflicted severe injuries for the victim in different parts of body.
“Dodoy” was brought to the Intel Office of the District Mobile Force Battalion (DMFB) before he was tuned over to Bahay Aruga Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in Barangay Pinagbuhatan inPasig City for custody. /ee
