MANILA, Philippines — Fire erupted in a residential area in Barangay (village) Bahay Toro in Quezon City on Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.
A Radyo Inquirer report said the raging blaze spread quickly that it also reached the nearby Barangay Sto. Cristo especially that there was not enough water available to douse the fire.
Fire authorities raised the inferno to “fifth alarm” as of 5:18 p.m. Fire Alert Metro Manila in a Facebook post shared by Quezon City Public Affairs Department noted that the blaze started in a house along Sinagtala Street. It also said houses in the village were mostly made of light materials.

This was happening while another fire was ongoing in Barangay Baesa also in Quezon City.
