Fire hits residential area in Quezon City
MANILA, Philippines — A fire struck a residential area in Quezon City on Tuesday afternoon, emergency dispatch service TXTFire Philippines reported.
The blaze swept through several houses along Mendez Street, Barangay Baesa in Quezon City, reaching the first alarm at 4:31 p.m. and then rose to fifth alarm after more than 20 minutes.
At 5:19 p.m., the blaze was raised to Task Force Bravo level.
According to Quezon Police District, fifteen firetrucks were deployed to put out the blaze.
The blaze was declared under control after more than three hours.
