MANILA, Philippines – Motorists in or passing through Pampanga have been advised to take note of road and bridge closures in the area as a result of the magnitude 6.1 earthquake that jolted the province, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DWPH) said on Tuesday.
DPWH Secretary Mark Villar said Consuelo Bridge in Floridablanca, Pampanga and Megadike Access Road in Bacolor, Pampanga are not passable.
“Dito sa Floridablanca, Pampanga, sarado po ang Consuelo Bridge dahil nagkaroon ng damage as of this moment, ‘di pa siya passable. Megadike Access Road ng Bacolor, Pampanga … not passable,” Villar said over dzMM.
Mancatian Bridge in Porac town and San Pedro Bridge in Floridablanca are only passable to light vehicles, Villar added.
Villar added that the Dinalupihan (Bataan) – Pampanga boundary arch collapsed.
“Yung isa po yung Dinalupihan – Pampanga boundary arch. Ito po ay nag-collapse pero nagclear na po mga kagabi 7 pm,” he said. /gsg
