Phivolcs records 421 aftershocks, so far

MANILA, Philippines — A total of 421 aftershocks were recorded as of 8 a.m. Tuesday, following the magnitude 6.1 earthquake that struck Metro Manila and parts of Luzon Monday afternoon.

The Philippine Institute for Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) told INQUIRER.net on Tuesday that the magnitude of the said aftershocks ranged from 1.4 to 3.4 but only eight of them were felt. /gsg
