THE feud in the Durano clan has resulted in the expulsion of one brother from the family’s political party.

The Durano-led Barug Alang Sa Kauswagan Ug Demokrasya (Bakud) of Cebu’s 5th district announced that it has expelled Danao City Mayor Ramon “Boy” Durano Jr. from the party’s ranks for “disloyalty.”

The resolution was released in a Bakud Party meeting last Saturday.

Nito said his older brother had discriminated against the party’s candidates. Nito Durano is the father of former Tourism Secretary Ace Durano and a cousin of Vice Gov. Agnes Magpale. Reporter Marian Z. Codilla
