MANILA, Philippines — Security personnel of the Metro Rail Transit line 3 (MRT-3) and two police officers arrested on Sunday a man running on the MRT 3 tracks.
According to an MRT 3 incident report, the man was identified as Guevara Soledad.
Soledad was first spotted crossing the footbridge near Kamuning Road at around 5:13 p.m.
Thereafter, he jumped off at the MRT-3 tracks and ran towards the northbound section of the Quezon Avenue station.
Soledad was detained at the Kamuning Station of the Quezon City Police District.
Operations of the MRT 3 were suspended at the time of the incident happened, following its weeklong general maintenance works.
Normal operations of the line will resume on Monday, April 22.
