Parts of PH to have cloudy skies, isolated rainshowers — Pagasa

MANILA, Philippines — The easterlies will affect portions of southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao on Saturday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, Pagasa said that Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao would experience a partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

With this, residents of the said areas should prepare for possible flash floods during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will also have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers but due to localized thunderstorms.

Pagasa noted that possible flash floods during severe thunderstorms is also expected. /je
