LUCENA CITY, Philippines – A motorcycle passenger was killed and two others were injured in a vehicular accident along the Maharlika Highway in Lopez town in Quezon province on Friday, police said.
Report said the motorcycle being driven by Romualdo Argamosa accidentally bumped the side of a local government-owned dump truck in Barangay (village) Concepcion at about 5 p.m.
Argamosa and his two passengers Daisy Montecillo and Jennelyn Argamosa all sustained serious injuries and were rushed to Magsaysay Memorial District Hospital at the town center. Montecillo died along the route.
Investigators said the motorcycle overshot a sharp curve and occupied the opposite lane that caused the collision.
