THE Beerboys kept their immaculate record in the 2011 First Conference of Basketball Association of Ramos (BAR) basketball tournament intact after routing Alcohol, 91-69, Monday night at the Benjamin Solon Sports Complex in barangay Cogon Ramos, Cebu City.
The Beerboys rode on the breakout performances of Rowel Sumalinog, pointguard Keith Arellano and Richard Regidor to claim their 6th straight win and the solo lead in the standings.
Sumalinog led the Beerboys with 22 points spiked by five triples while Arellano added 18 points. Richard Regidor and Glen Birao tallied 15 and 14 points, respectively.
Adrian Colenares and Vergel Fuentes paced Alcohol with 20 points apiece.
Earlier, the Rama Boys Barkada tripped Blessel, 93-88.
Cebu City Mayor Mike Rama topped Barkada with 22 points including six triples with huge support from Michael Sumayang (18), Jun Ando (15) and Jerry Pingoy (12).
Bull-strong center Nilo Dandan and Fil-Am Erik Camota paced Blessel with 30 and 19 points, respectively.
