LUCENA CITY – Two motorcycle riders died in a collision in Candelaria town in Quezon province shortly before midnight on Thursday.
A police report said a motorcycle with a sidecar being driven by Eldwin Dote collided head-on with an oncoming motorcycle being driven by an unidentified driver along the Candelaria-San Juan, Batangas road in Barangay (village) Sta. Catalina Sur at 11:55 p.m.
Both motorcycle drivers died from serious injuries while being taken to the United Candelaria Doctors Hospital.
Motorcycle passenger Jonald Plata suffered injuries and was confined at the said hospital. Delfin T. Mallari Jr.
