MANILA, Philippines — Sixteen suspects were arrested while a total of P251,600 worth of shabu was seized in separate police operations in Pasig City on Holy Wednesday.
Operatives of the Pasig police station and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)’s Eastern District Office implemented a search warrant and arrested six suspects at Villa Monique, Phase 1 at Barangay Pinagbuhatan.
Arrested suspects were named as Dante Medez, 50; Irish May Agustin, 24; Jil Jimenez, 40; Paolo Villaruel, 36; Jeffrey Villaruel, 45; and Michael Laron, 34.
Seized were 10 grams of shabu with street value placed at P68,000.
Five suspects were also nabbed at Villa Monique, Phase 1, San Agustin St., Brgy. Pinagbuhatan.
Suspects were identified as Arvin Calpito, 47; Jerry Qulobe, 46; Ramon Jimenez, 47; Jommel Quijano, 31; and Kevin Quijano, 24.
Seized were 12 grams of shabu worth P81,600 and drug paraphernalia.
Lastly, authorities arrested five suspects namely, Norman Salik, 38; Mapandi Joharah, 23; Jalil Anowar, 32; Jalil Rasmai, 37; and Elias Mohammad Salih, 20, at San Agustin Street, Barangay Pinagbuhatan.
Confiscated were 102 grams of shabu worth Php 102,000, drug paraphernalia, and two cellphones.
Suspects were brought to the Pasig police station for proper disposition and filing of appropriate charges for violation of Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. /je
