Palau national busted for P400K shabu at Naia

MANILA, Philippines – Authorities at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 on Tuesday arrested a citizen of the tiny Pacific archipelago of Palau who was attempting to smuggle out of the country 59.5 grams of shabu worth an estimated P404,600 .

Arrested by agents from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, Philippine National Police-Drug Enforcement Group, National Bureau of Investigation and Bureau of Customs was Mike Taman, 47.

He was intercepted at final security checkpoint at around 9:30 p.m..

Taman was about to board United Airlines flight UA 192. /gsg
