MANILA, Philippines — The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Tuesday said it will close Tripa de Gallina bridge along Buendia Avenue in Pasay City to undergo repairs.
MMDA general manager Jojo Garcia said the bridge will be closed from April 18, Thursday midnight (12 midnight) until April 21, Sunday afternoon (12 noon).
The closure of the bridge will affect westbound vehicles or those bound to Taft Avenue.
“The rehabilitation has already started but private contractors required the bridge’s full closure for some concrete pouring works,” Garcia said in a press briefing held at the MMDA headquarters in Makati City.
