Arrested man found to have bag with 44 diamonds in his anus

A man in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA, who got pulled was found to have a bag containing 44 small cut diamonds hidden in his anus.
Police nabbed 23-year-old Eusebio Padilla on Sunday, April 7, for riding his motorcycle that had no license plate, as per The Albuquerque Journal.
When authorities handcuffed Padilla, they said he “removed a baggy from his butt crack” and dropped it on the ground.
Padilla told authorities that he got the diamonds from a relative who “usually has stolen items.” He had also planned to trade them for drugs.
“Based on the uncommon behavior of concealing diamonds in packaging commonly used to store narcotics, and concealing it in his butt cavity, and the attempt to get rid of the item, it was apparent to me that Padilla must have known the baggy of diamonds was stolen,” a criminal complaint about Padilla’s case read.
He was booked into the Metropolitan Detention Center, and was slapped with such charges as tampering with evidence, some traffic violations and receiving stolen property. Katrina Hallare /ra
