CSC accepts entries for video contest

THE Civil Service Commission (CSC), in partnership with Kabayanihan Foundation, launched a 30-40 second “Kwentong Kabayanihan: The CSC-Kabayanihan Foundation Video” contest as part of its advocacy in bringing out the hero in every Filipino.

The contest, dubbed “Every Filipino is a hero. Every Filipino is part of the solution” is open to all amateur groups and individual filmmakers.

The contest emphasizes the CSC’s Responsive, Accessible, Courteous and Effective Public Service (R.A.C.E.) and Kabayanihan foundation’s concept of being a “kabayani” by showing love for country in doing small consistent acts of heroism.

It aims to find videos that will move Filipinos to act on the most pressing concerns the country is facing. The video content must be based on the theme and must be in English or Tagalog.

FEATURED STORIES

Video entries will be judged according to subject relevance (30 percent), message clarity (30 percent), video quality (20 percent) and audience impact (20 percent).

Participants may submit many entries.

Cash prizes await the champion, first runner-up and second runner-up. There will also be special awards—CSC Awards and People’s Choice Award.

Entries must be uploaded in the Kabayanihan Foundation Facebook page. The title of the video must be “Kwentong Kabayanihan Video—(insert personal title).”
