MANILA, Philippines – The number coding scheme in Metro Manila is suspended, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said Tuesday.
In a series of Twitter replies to netizens, the MMDA said the suspension of the scheme was in line with the country’s celebration of Araw ng Kagitingan or Day of Valor.
The MMDA pointed out that the suspension of coding included the cities of Las Piñas and Makati.
The Day of Valor has been declared a regular non-working holiday under Malacañang Proclamation No. 555. /cbb
