LUBAO, PAMPANGA — A sea of hot air balloons in various shapes, sizes and colors delighted the crowd during the opening of the 6th Lubao International Balloon and Music Festival here on Friday.
This year’s colorful balloon flights featured more than 25 hot air balloons that painted the clear sky above Prada Verde, the festival’s venue here.
At least 10 were special-shaped balloons, such as a blue chicken, a pig, a polar bear and “King of Rock and Roll” Elvis Presley.
The annual fest will run for three days and will also feature aerial shows, balloon night glow, ultralight, paramotor exhibition, car shows, off-road and rallycross and fireworks display.
Several music bands and artist are also expected to grace the event.
