Graduates dance to ‘We’re All In This Together’ and ‘A Million Dreams’ for graduation
MANILA, Philippines — Students of the Holy Trinity College of General Santos City made their graduation extra special with prepared dance steps for their two graduation songs on March 27 at the Lagao Gym in General Santos City.
The two performance were recorded and went viral on social media. One video showed students dancing to High School Musical’s “We’re all in this together.” If the Wild Cats have their mascot, Holy Trinity also has its own. Not red, but green just like their togas.
Another video showed the students dancing to The Greatest Showman’s “A Million Dreams.”
One of the graduates, Ric Sherwin Verzosa who posted the videos on Facebook said their performance was the idea of their school’s faculty members. They only practiced for two weeks with the help of their choreographer, Jeatrin Oro.
“We love the song so much but the choreography nahihirapan kami kunte (was quite hard)'” admits Versoza. But we pray and commit na kakayanin namin (that we’ll be able to do it).”
It may be their last day in Senior High School but the students impressed not only their parents and teachers who attended their graduation, but netizens as well. /muf
