Two-headed piglet born in Isabela farm

ECHAGUE, Isabela– A backyard hog raiser was surprised on Wednesday (April 3) when he discovered that his prize sow had given birth to a two-headed piglet in Barangay (village) Santo Domingo.

Mar Balauag, 30, said the strange piglet was the last to emerge after his pig delivered 13 normal piglets earlier on Tuesday (April 2). “I have been raising hogs for decades but this is my first time to see such a bizarre-looking piglet,” he said.

Balauag said they immediately contacted a veterinarian because the two-headed piglet appeared weak.
