Fisherman found dead in Lapu shore

A 47-YEAR-OLD fisherman was found dead in the seashore of barangay Punta Engaño, Lapu-lapu City, yesterday morning.

Ernesto Pagobo, a widower of sitio Lupa,  was discovered by his fellow fishermen lying on the seashore 300 meters away from his paddle boat with an open wound in the head believed to be struck by a blunt object.

Initial police investigation revealed that he last seen by his stepdaughter Charina Arsolon last Sunday morning when he went fishing. Police said the family got worried when Sunday evening came and Pagobo was missing.

Described by neighbors to be a good person, the family could not believe someone is out to kill him.
