The Makati City Police filed the charges against Adecer for violations of Article 172 of the Revised Penal Code or falsification by private individuals and use of falsified documents.

FEATURED STORIES

Adecer, whose real name is Douglas Errol Dreyfus Adecer and winner of the celebrity talent search Starstruck, was arrested last week after his car injured two employees of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA).

In a case conference on Monday night, the Land Transportation Office (LTO) and Makati police confirmed that Adecer’s license was counterfeit.

The LTO said they might file administrative cases for possible revocation or suspension of Adecer’s driver’s license as the actor already had four cases of reckless driving. /jpv
