2 bus robbers arrested in Edsa-Makati

MANILA, Philippines – Police arrested two men who robbed passengers of a public utility bus along Edsa in Guadalupe Viejo, Makati City Monday night.

Arrested were Regie Inventor and Carlo Bacsal.

They and their two cohorts, threatened passengers of the southbound Kingsam bus and took their valuable belongings.

When the bus reached Estrella Street, passengers sought assistance from police officers who were on patrol nearby.

After a brief chase, Inventor and Bacsal were arrested.

Recovered from them were a 9-inch fan knife, 16 – inch bolo, cellphone, several wallets and cash.

The two arrested suspects were brought to the police station for further investigation and proper disposition. / gsg
