MANILA, Philippines — Passengers of the Light Rail Transit Line 1 (LRT-1) can now bring liquids onto trains after the ban on bottled water and other liquids was lifted starting Tuesday.

In a Twitter post, the LRT-1 announced the lifting of liquids ban on its trains starting April 2.

Starting Jan. 31, the LRT-1, along with other train systems including the LRT-2 and Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3), implemented the liquids ban as a security measure.

It came after bombing incidents in Mindanao.
