‘Invest in our people, invest in their dreams’–Bullet Jalosjos

Running for governor for the province of Zamboanga Del Norte, Seth Frederick “Bullet” Jalosjos said this election is all about investing in the people’s dreams.

“It’s not about the candidate, it’s always about the people,” Jalosjos stressed.

Prior to the start of the official campaign period, Jalosjos visited several remote barangays in the province of Zamboanga Del Norte riding a motorbike via “Moto Meet”, a group of riders and volunteers.

Jalosjos who is in his last term as 1st District Representative said that he wanted to know hor himself, first hand what really is the situation on the ground. That way he said, he will not make promises he can’t keep.

“It’s about their dreams and their needs. A leader should be able to inspire those dreams and more than anything else, should be able to provide what they really need,” Jalosjos said.

Zamboanga Del Norte ranks among the top ten poorest provinces in the country. Jalosjos said that with the vast resources of the province, there are many ways to improve the people’s living condition.

“Setting the right priorities is what is needed,” he pointed out, adding that this is why platforms and masterplan should be in place for any aspiring leader.

“Local or national, we should always listen to what the candidates have to say,” Jalosjos stressed.

Jalosjos is running for governor under the Hugpong ng Pagbabago. He is also HNP’s regional chairman.
