Eastery winds to bring cloudy skies, rainshowers in Bicol, other areas
MANILA, Philippines — Most part of the country will generally experience cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers caused by the easterly winds on Saturday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, Pagasa said that Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, and Mindanao would have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms caused by the easterlies.
Pagasa further warned the residents in these affected areas to prepare for possible flash floods during severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have general fair weather with partly cloudy skies, the bureau added. /jpv
