Fire hits Muntinlupa City residential area

MANILA, Philippines — Four people were injured in a fire that broke out in residential are in Muntinlupa City on Friday evening, Muntinlupa City Hall reported.

Michelle Hipa of the Muntinlupa City Hall said the victims sustained minor abrasions.

According to the Muntinlupa City police, the fire broke out at Creekside, Purok 6, Tramo Sucat, Muntinlupa City at around 6:27 p.m.

After an hour, the blaze has reached the third alarm.

Fire Officer I Mark Roger Robedillo of the Muntinlupa Fire Station said the blaze was declared under control at 8:28 p.m. and fully extinguished twenty minutes later.

Damage to property and the cause of the blaze have yet to be established. /gsg
