Chinese – Filipino arrested for drugs in Paranaque

MANILA, Philippines – A Chinese-Filipino restaurant consultant was arrested for possession of illegal drugs in a casino-hotel in Parañaque City Thursday night.

Parañaque police identified the suspect Jason Yao, 40, a resident of Makati CIty.

Parañaque police Colonel Rogelio Rosales said a personnel of Okada Manila saw a sachet of suspected shabu fall from Yao’s pocket.

He was arrested at around 11:40 p.m. and was brought to the police precinct Friday morning.

Recovered from Yao were a sachet of suspected shabu and a rubber pipe with traces of the supposed illegal substance.

Yao is detained at the Parañaque City Police Station Custodial Facility and will be charged accordingly. / gsg
