MANILA, Philippines — A man was shot dead by men riding in tandem on a motorcycle in Quezon City on Wednesday evening.
The police said the shooting happened at about 9:30 p.m. along Payatas Road, Group 9, Barangay Payatas.
Witness Felisa Cruz, a vendor, said the still unidentified man described as between 25 and 30 years old was at the Bing and Zel Poultry Supply when two motorcycle-riding men shot him several times.
The gunmen then fled towards Rodriguez (formerly Montalban), Rizal.
Recovered from the incident were three spent bullet shells and a plastic sachet of suspected shabu.
The case has been turned over to the city police office’s Criminal and Investigation Detention Unit. /cbb
