Expect heavy traffic near Southern Police District HQ on Wednesday

MANILA, Philippines – The Southern Police District (SPD) advised motorists and commuters to seek alternate routes as heavy traffic is expected in several roads in Taguig City and Makati City on Wednesday, March 27.

In an advisory, the SPD said heavy traffic is expected along Lawton Avenue and Bayani Road in Taguig City and Pasong Tamo Extension in Makati City from 12 noon to 5 p.m. due to the scheduled oath taking and pinning of ranks ceremony of newly promoted police non-commissioned officers.

The event will take place at the  SPD Grandstand in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.

“Motorists are therefore advised and reminded to avoid passing on the abovementioned areas,” the advisory read.  /gsg
