3 drug suspects slain in Nueva Ecija

CABANATUAN CITY — Three alleged drug pushers were killed in successive anti-drugs operations in Nueva Ecija on Tuesday, police said.

Senior Supt. Leon Victor Rosete, Nueva Ecija police director, identified the slain suspects as Gerry Coronan of this city, Jerwin Solomon of San Jose City and Alan Miclat of Talavera town.

Rosete said all the suspects turned hostile and initiated a gunfight with anti-drugs operatives during the buy-bust operations.

Police said Coronan was killed in Barangay Bayanihan, Gapan City about 4:30 a.m. while Solomon was shot dead in Barangay Licaong, Science City of Muñoz around 11:30 p.m.

Miclat was killed in Barangay San Anton, San Leonardo about 4 a.m.
