Fire hits Barangay Damayang Lagi, QC

MANILA, Philippines – Fire broke out in a residential area in Barangay Damayang Lagi in Quezon City on Wednesday afternoon.

The Bureau of Fire Protection -Quezon City said the blaze started at around 1:27 p.m.

It reached Task Force Alpha at around 1:58 p.m. until the fire got up to a general alarm, the BFP added.

This meant that all available firetrucks in Metro Manila were deployed to the scene.

Government and volunteer firefighters also responded to the alarm.

No casualties or injuries have so far been reported.
