2 PDEA agents shot in Pasay City buy-bust
MANILA, Philippines — Two agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) were wounded in a shootout with two men who were the subjects of a buy-bust operation in Pasay City on Wednesday.
The Pasay City Police identified the injured agents as Charlemaine Tang and Richard Seure, who both sustained gunshot wounds and were rushed to San Juan de Dios Hospital.
According to the police, the agents were transacting with two men in an anti-drug operation when shooting erupted. One of the gunmen was also wounded while the other managed to flee. /cbb
