Today, March 20, is the 176th birth anniversary of Ambrosio Flores, a secretary of war and revolutionary general.
Born in 1843 in Manila, Flores succeeded Antonio Luna after his assassination.
After his surrender to the Americans, Flores was appointed the first provincial governor of Rizal.
