Man wanted for rape in Ilocos Sur nabbed in Tarlac

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — A fugitive wanted in Ilocos Sur for four counts of rape has been arrested in Tarlac on Monday.

The Central Luzon police confirmed on Tuesday the arrest of Mark Verzo Miguel, 25, through the joint operations of the police in Ilocos Sur and Tarlac.

Miguel is in the national list of most wanted persons of the Department of the Interior and Local Government. A court in Candon City had issued an arrest warrant against him, according to the regional police. Tonette Orejas/lzb
