MANILA, Philippines — Six individuals were reported hurt from the fire that hit a residential area in Tondo, Manila on Saturday night.
According to the on-scene spot report, the victims were identified as Gerald Brown, 38; Nenita Lardizabal, 64; Imee Parayne, 20; Leizel Miles, 42; and Manuel Corpus, 34.
The other person that authorities attended to is still not yet identified, but the report said that the individual experienced difficulty in breathing.
According to the report, the fire allegedly started at the three-storey residential building owned by the Manansala family.
The fire then reached fourth alarm and affected 150 families. Estimated amount of damage to properties recorded by the authorities is at P1,000,000.
The fire that engulfed the houses along Launasa Street in Tondo started at 8:30 p.m. and was declared out 12:10 a.m., Sunday. /je
