MANILA, Philippines — One minor died while two persons were hurt in a fire that razed a residential area in Pateros on Saturday, police reported.
According to the Southern Police District, around 10 houses made of light materials were affected by the blaze.
Fire Officer I Joana Soriano said the fire that hit the houses in barangay Santo Rosario Kanluran in Pateros began at 11:50 a.m.
The blaze reached the third alarm after more than 10 minutes and was put out an hour later.
The incident is currently under investigation. /jpv
