AUTHORITIES have recovered three more delivery trucks at a warehouse on Daang Manuso in Tipas, Taguig City, where a truck that had been forcibly taken from its driver was found last Friday.

Chief Insp. Jenny Tecson, the spokesperson of the Southern Police District (SPD), said two of the three recovered trucks were positively identified by their owners on Tuesday.

Tecson added that the police also found various spare parts believed to have been taken from other stolen trucks.

Earlier, SPD deputy director for operations Senior Supt. Federico Castro said that investigators would list down the identification numbers of the trucks found inside the compound. These would then be compared with the Highway Patrol Group’s list of stolen vehicles.

He added that the recovery of the trucks and spare parts indicated that the warehouse was a “chop shop” for stolen vehicles.

The warehouse operated by Anlud Metal Recycling Corp. was discovered because one of the stolen trucks had a global positioning system device which allowed its owner to track it.
