SAN RAFAEL, BULACAN — Mayor Cipriano Violago of this town said his inclusion in the so-called “narco-list” was a product of wrong information fed to President Duterte.

Violago, who was also part of the narco-list that Duterte released in 2016, said his name has already been cleared by the Philippine National Police and the Department of the Interior and Local Government at the local level.

The mayor is running for reelection and said his political rival could be behind his inclusion in the new list.

Kawawa naman, na-karma agad ang taong ito, mula noon at nagkaron ng malubhang sakit,” Violago said in his Facebook post on Thursday night.
