UP Manila grad tops 2019 Pharmacy board exam

MANILA, Philippines — A graduate of University of the Philippines – Manila topped the recently concluded Pharmacy licensure exam, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Tuesday.

The PRC said Julienne Nicole Dela Cruz led the 2,100 passers of the March 2019 Pharmacy board exam.

Dela Cruz obtained a percentage rating of 92.70. She was followed by Khlarica Rygine Aquino Furigay of the Trinity University of Asia with a score of 92.00

Jonas Angeles Aquino of the University of the Philippines placed third with a percentage score of 91.80.

Meanwhile, the University of the Philippines Manila was hailed as the top performing school in the board exam after all 53 of its examinees passed.

Baguio City’s Saint Louis University meanwhile placed second with 70 out of its 72 examinees passing the exam.

Results of the board exam were released three workings days after the last day of the examination.

The 2019 Pharmacy board exam was conducted by the PRC Board of Pharmacy headed by its Officer-in-Charge Dr. Mildred B. Oliveros and members, Ms. Adelina C. Royo and Mr. Anthony Aldrin C. Santiago.

The Pharmacy board exam was administered at PRC testing centers in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.  /muf
