MANILA, Philippines — Quezon City 1st District Rep. Vincent Crisologo has pushed for the re-planning of the Quezon City Memorial Circle (QCMC), citing the lack of facilities in the park.
“My plan is to build (an) auditorium there, tayo na lang walang auditorium. Air-conditioned na multi-purpose na pwedeng basketball court, lahat meron na,” Crisologo said in a statement on Tuesday.
“It’s a big space ano, kulang lang sa planning. Kasi ang nangyari noon, may maisipan sila tayo rito, may maisipan sila tayo roon. There is no general planning. So I think we should re-plan the circle,” he said.
Crisologo, who is running to become the city’s mayor, also said he would ensure implementation of fair rental fees in QCMC as some establishments there complain of high fees. /kga
