Fire hits QC residential area

MANILA, Philippines – Fire broke out in an informal settlers’ area in Quezon City Monday noon, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said.
BFP – Quezon City said that the fire is currently razing a residential area in Sitio Pajo, Barangay Baesa, Quezon City.
Authorities said that the fire started at around 12 noon and was immediately raised to 5th alarm, 30 minutes after.
According to ground reports, however, the fire already reached Task Force Bravo as of 12:50 p.m.
No casualties were so far reported as government and volunteer firefighters are still trying to extinguish the blaze. /gsg
