ILOILO CITY — Work at the Iloilo Hall of Justice was disrupted on Monday morning due to a bomb scare that prompted the evacuation of employees and other people inside the building.

Offices resumed at the Chief Justice Ramon Q. Avanceña Hall of Justice around 10 a.m., after a police explosive and ordnance team found no explosive and cleared the building.

A man called the Public Attorneys Office around 8:37 a.m. and one of the staff members to vacate the building as a bomb had been placed there, according to a report of the Iloilo City Police Office.

The police were still determining the identity of the caller and the motive for the bomb threat.
