DID YOU KNOW: More than 420,000 deaths recorded Jan-Sept 2018

According to the Philippine Statistics Authority, there was a total of 423,429 registered deaths from January to September 2018.

Of this number, 55,295 were from the National Capital Region, the second highest among all regions.

Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon) ranked first with 63,161 deaths registered. —Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
