MANILA, Philippines — President Rodrigo Duterte on Thursday afternoon officially welcomed to Malacañang visiting Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad.
The Prime Minister, who is in the country for a two-day official visit, is expected to hold a “restricted meeting” and an expanded bilateral meeting with Duterte.

After the meetings, the two leaders will deliver their joint statements to the media.
Duterte then will host a state banquet for the Malaysian leader, who is known as the world’s oldest statesman at the age of 93. /je
