MANILA, Philippines — Administration-backed senatorial bet and Ilocos Norte Gov. Imee Marcos once again evaded media questions on her controversial school records.
During Hugpong ng Pagbabago’s campaign rally in Parañaque City on Wednesday, Marcos left hurriedly after entertaining supporters who asked to take photos with her.

Marcos entered her van when reporters asked for an interview.
The Ilocos Norte Governor claimed that she needs to leave for an event in Pampanga.
Earlier, HNP’s campaign manager Sara Duterte-Carpio said that Marcos will address the issue on her educational background.

Marcos claimed that she has a college degree from Princeton University. She also said she earned a law degree from the University of the Philippines (UP).
The two universities, however, denied the claims of the daughter of the late strongman Ferdinand Marcos that she had graduated from their respective institutions. /ee
