MANILA, Philippines — The Commission on Elections (Comelec) on Wednesday reminded candidates for national positions and party-list groups to register their official social media pages.

As of March 6, the Comelec said only 13 senatorial candidates and 23 party-list groups have submitted their website and social media pages to the Education and Information Department of the commission.

This is being requested so the Comelec can monitor the candidates’ social media expenses for the midterm polls.
