MANILA, Philippines – An 18-wheeler truck fell on its side Wednesday afternoon while approaching the Valenzuela Exit of the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX).
Based on the incident report sent to INQUIRER.net, the truck lost its control while approaching the Valenzuela Exit (south-bound) at 1:02 p.m.
The truck was carrying tanks of Isopopyl alcohol.
The tanks, however, were empty when the incident happened.
In a tweet, NLEX Corporation said that traffic situation before the area of the accident is slow moving as three lanes are closed to motorists.

NLEX management is now implementing a traffic counter flow scheme to decongest traffic in the area.
No injuries or fatalities were reported. No other vehicles were involved in the accident. / gsg
