Lack of job opportunities remain the biggest problem in the country — Angara

Scarcity of job opportunities and, in some cases, lack of job openings remain to be the biggest issue that confronts most regions in the country, according to Senator Juan Edgardo “Sonny” Angara.

In an interview with Radyo Inquirer’s Raw Talk, Angara said that the free college education will mean more fresh graduates in the future who will need jobs. This is something that the government can address by focusing on other areas that have opportunities for employment like tourism and agriculture.

Right now, Angara pointed out that the “Build, Build, Build” projects under the Duterte administration have provided work for skilled workers. But this has to be sustained by other sectors, according to Angara.
