SAN PEDRO CITY, Philippines – A suspected drug pusher was killed in a buy-bust operation in Biñan City in Laguna province Saturday morning.
Laguna police chief Eleazar Matta, in a text message, said suspect Ferdinand Reflan, a resident of Barangay Malaban, was included in the police list of suspected drug pushers.
According to police, Reflan allegedly resisted arrest and shot at police officers during the bust conducted at around 3:38 a.m.
Recovered from Reflan was a .38 caliber revolver and 20 sachets of suspected “shabu” (crystal meth) with a street value of P44,200. /muf
